New in 2002, we constructed a donation box where donations for local charities could be accepted. This attracted more than $62,000.00 throughout 8 seasons! The distribution of these donations is shown below.

Note that donations have gone down the past few seasons, mainly due to poor weather conditions and very expensive paid-duty police officers that we hired for traffic control. The town and police department would not financially assist with this expense. For 2 seasons, the only way to keep this show running was to hire these officers and they are the ONLY expense paid out from collected donations...we had no choice!
